And we have the post of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
absolutely 100% agree
currently the club are in possibly the biggest transition period since the merger and as such we should expect the club to go backwards slightly to go forwards in some areas , however as many have said thisw club is going forwards in almost every aspect and it feels good to me
but to say along the lines of "i dont know why i bother" is just spineless towards the club IMO

| Under Agar I came very close to chucking the towel in. A.P. has come along making sweeping changes, and he is putting his money where his mouth is.Peter Gentle has stuck to his word and given youngsters a chance.I would like us to win the rest of our games, but if we didn`t I wouldn`t be too disappointed,as I truly believe we are going on eventually to better things.
Patience is a virtue, and if the fans stick with the team they will be rewarded I am certain.

| I'd be happy to aim for top 4 next season but expect to be be more competitive with the likes of Wigan and Warrington. Hoprfully a decent Cup run too.
We were never going to go from a mid table team to Champions in two seasons.

Why should we "aim" for top 4?
we should aim for the top spot.
You are only restricted by your aspirations

Look at the attendances and you'll see that they are dwindling. Yes some of that is the economic climate but a large part of it is the quality of the rugby so it appears im in quite a large group of supporters (1000s) who simply will not go on blindly supporting and throwing money at the club when the product on show is on the whole poor value for money. Granted next year may see us improve but this year we have been poor in all but three games so far and that doesn not fill me with massive amounts of confindence that things are gonna change even past next season.

Have a bit of faith Seb.Pearson himself has stated we signed some pap.Lets see who is actually coming next season ,then pass judgement.
Being a Hull fan has been a painful experience recently, but lets think positive.
Feel the vibes man.

| The trouble is the previous administration promised us jam next year for four long years and we ended that a lot poorer then when we started the journey. It was always going to take a while to undo the damage done in that period, I think this season we have overall done better then I expected. The vast majority of the playing staff belong to the last regime and no doubt many are either not required any more or want away, it has proved to be a difficult one to coach and I thing PG has done better then most. I have for the most part enjoyed the rugby on display, I have seen a team trying with some passion, aggression and a bit more attacking ability then I have seen for some years.
You can now either get behind the club and buy into the future or you can clear off, its your choice just remember that it was not the present regime that drove the club into the ground. We are lucky that some one has come forward and is backing the club, look at Bradford walking away now and we could well be the next Bradford.
I get tired of seeing people slag off our players/club/stadium and slagging off other FC fans just because they have a different view to theirs as this place is far too public.

I do try haha. Thankfully, the majority of our fans are intelligent enough to realise that something good is happening at the club. I'm genuinely excited by where AP is going to take us.

OK, that's semantics. I meant realistically 4th would be a good return in 2013. Obviously top spot is the ultimate aim.

| He bought a club that was in a pretty poor state both on and off the field.
(It was bad enough for me to boycott the whole of last year. Something that I didn't want to do but I couldn't face feeding my money to the last regime. I felt like they were destroying my club which I'd supported for over 25 years of my life.)
It's going to take some time to turn this mess around.
To be in a force in this league, we need to build on solid foundations.
AP recognises that these foundations aren't there and is prepared to spend his money, rebuilding the club from the ground up.
Maybe some supporters are being impatient by demanding success immediately.
Unlike AP, I'm not a millionaire and I can't buy success but I can still do my bit to support the vision that he's trying to put together
I can keep coming to games.
I can buy the odd shirt.
I can buy my pass and most importantly I can still be a Hull FC supporter who is grateful to have his club back.

Think the fact it is on the world wide web may have something to do with it.
