how likely is it that Lineham will feature?
can only see him coming on if one of the wingers or centres get injured
maybe means we'll be rotating the forwards a bit more

it is though, fecking cruel, they've used Seymour as the scape goat, and blue eye boy Horne who has done jack all for 2 seasons now is in the squad, he should have pushed Horne to FB, seymour and aaron as the half back pair, and stuck goldie in the second row to try and bring us a bit more muscle up front.

Bit of a concern with Houghton's first game back and having not trained much with it seeming like he'll be playing big minutes.


As for Lineham, I'm not sure how he'll be used. Maybe general injury cover, maybe him on, Briscoe to centre, Turner to backrow. Who knows.


Personally, I think that we would have been best off with Heremaia and Seymour as the halves.

I don't completely disagree, but none of us know what is going on at the club, and the Wayne Bennett quote springs to mind when reading that.

I'm not blindly trusting Pearson and Gentle, but would rather have them than any of the previous lot.

Despite this Seymour issue, there are areas of KR's side that we can exploit, namely Sam Latus and Graeme Horne. Need to target Latus with some kicks (of the ball, not physically).

We're gonna get roundly bummed. Presume he has lineham on the bench because he will come on for houghton and we'll move half the team around to accomodate. Should have had another forward on the bench. Little rotation with a weak pack in this heat against a big set of forwards is asking for trouble. Wouldn't be surprised to see a record derby score

the only other forward in the 19 was Bowden, someone mentioned he played for U20s at the weekend
