It's because the left hand side of the terrace (as you look at it from then pitch) isn't as high as the right hand side, so there couldn't be one continuous roof of the same height. To make one continuous roof at the lower height would have meant those at the back having to duck.

Whilst I agree that we need to play to the best of our ability lets bear in mind that their recent wins have been against 2 of the bottom three, so hardly giant killing.

Picked my ticket up from Belle Vue the other day as I didn't have time to get one from ours last week. The door to the side stand was open so I walked down to have a peek.
The roof on the stand behind the sticks at the Doncaster road end doesn't look bad at all to be fair.
The one down the side near the celebrity square's house looks a bit naff though.....

you are joking, his "legacy" will be felt by FC for the next 2/3 years at least, not to mention the damage he's done by not giving young players a chance, who knows what might have been with some of the players who were never nurtured and developed properly?

I did read his post, he said his legacy would last 2-3 years as well as holding the youngsters back.As for the youngsters, maybe they weren't ready? Either way time you moved on and looked to the future.
