As far as Rich Whiting is concerned he has never let the club down and never will, absolutely immense and already player of the year in my book.'"
Can't overlook Houghton and Lynch, either. It's good to have a few vying for it for a change.

No. Think it was a specific tactic for Leeds and designed to take them by surprise. Judging by his comments it may be something we'll implement again but not shift to permanently.

Yep, good shout. Sharp was another earlier in the season, and Moa's also having his best season IMO.

Both fair shouts mate. It has been said already many times so I won't labour the point but it is fantastic to see the change in Sharp confidence-wise (is that even a word/phrase?). Moa had his best game of the season on Saturday and looked top quality, will be very sad to see him leave.

| Reads the game brilliantly (probably our top "interceptor"icon_wink.gif, great defence, outstanding both offensively and defensively under a high ball (which I think we could actually make more use of offensively - witness the leap and take which almost led to him scoring last Saturday). The fact that he's also versatile just masks the fact that he's a class player and has probably led to him being undervalued by some. Top player for me!

You realise it's a 17 man game, right?

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Whiting is worth a spot in any SL squad and would get in most 17's. His performances are more impressive than ever this season.

| Totally disagree, Ok not as good as the players mentioned (has anyone compared him to them?) but much better than "gives his best".
Very good SL player who would get into every SL 17.
He has an excellent all round game and is looking like an established backrow forward already.

| Some people don't realise what we have in Richard Whiting.
He is, in my opinion, one of the best Rugby League players playing in Super League at the moment.
Many of you will say I'm on drugs and can name many players who you think are better.
However, he has played in every position on the park, many times over for us, never complaining and always gives 100%. He rarely has a poor game and quite often makes the top two or three in man of the match polls. How many times a game do we all applaud his one on one tackles, his breaks (yes, he does appear slow at times), his hard yards etc. Many players are better in their own position but none can play in all positions to the very high standard he does.
Richard Whiting would have most teams in Super League after him for a fact if we where foolish enough to let him go. There is not a better (and I hate to say it) utility player in the game. Every team needs at least one player like Richard Whiting.......and we have Richard Whiting so we should try and keep him.
I hope Peter Gentle signs him up for 3 years.

2+option is the way to go, just in case.
