Was watching a couple of the games from that period a while ago and if I remember rightly, we where ripping it up, 3rd or 4th in the league, with a massive positive points difference.
And then we got decimated by injuries.

Don't think we have ever seen rugby like that at the KC since, on a consistant basis.

We had 36 points after 23 rounds and had lost only once in thirteen in 2004 but then lost three in a row. We sneaked home in the last two regular season games but by the time the playoff against Wakefield came we were (IIRC) without Jason Smith, Horne and Cooke.
