Lovegrove has never been a good defender, he and Welham have got squatter's rights in that list!
The coach ( far be it from me to defend him!) has been mis-quoted here (by comeonyouhull). He said he was the Top tackler, not the best defender. I believe prior to the game on Friday he was top of the tackles made list (which Houghton now tops).
