| Quote: east hull FC fan "Can't see Martin getting back in now, another excellent display from Turner. Think he's already made his decision to leave though.'"
Martin could back in instead of Yeaman IMO, and give Turner the left side back if he wants it. Think Yeaman could perhaps benefit from being shown he's not guaranteed a place and still needs to work at improving his game. A few times today he made poor decisions for his winger and the team.

See my posts. And as east hull fc fan says, he needs to keep producing it. If he can, fair play to him.
And just to be clear, I never said he didn't have the potential. I've always said that he is very good going forward, but makes mistakes in defence and didn't seem to be learning from them. The last couple of games he's held it together well.

Bang on the money - IMO
Hope PG can teach Yeaman to stop shooting out of the line, looking for the big hit -leaving his winger isolated.

Simply not true. He was poor in the Bradford friendly and got caught out twice by Widnes when they only attacked for 10 minutes.
Quote: voodooroo "some just wont give credit where its due,'"
I will, and I have.
Quote: voodooroo "this is and always was a class kid that just needed the correct coaching..... now we see the end result of said coaching'"
Still unclear.
This post actually makes me a bit angry. The kid had a really good game and deserves praise, and I'm big enough to say so. It's more than a little sad that the way you'd prefer to respond to today's result and his performance in particular is to get into a p1ss1ng contest over who said what about him because he's had a couple of good games, and actually spout outright fiction to back up your argument.

| Much rather have turner in the squad than arundel next year. Will end up a top class back rower in the manu mould IMO and would be a mistake to let him walk away

| Did anyone notice in the Sky interview with Gentle after the game, he was quite dismisive of Turner's contribution and looked a little bit furtive, as though he didn't want to answer it?
Could he be one of the ones to make way next year?

Noticed that too. Seemed to only mention that Turner was a good player to have to finish opportunities. Didnt mention all the build up play he played a part in

| Turner always had potential, people forget he is only 23 and his best is yet to come.

| Listen to PG more closely. He doesn't to big up individuals and hasn't done since he arrived. For him it's the squad ethic (not even the starting 17 but the entire squad). There are few mentions of individual achievement but instead squad recognition including the youngsters. He has done this consistently with all players not just Turner.

| Turner has always had the potential and he's shown glimpses of it here and there. Good football brain, but also has the pace and now the strength to go with it. Clearly he has come on leaps and bounds this year, and that has to be down to better coaching. Hope he stays. I think he'll develop into a cracking off-half.
