| Quote: FC Callum "Still don't see the big fuss about Turner, not as good as Whiting, just another Graeme Horne, does alright against avearge to poor teams but struggles otherwise. As for Obst starting, I think we've looked a lot better side with Westerman and Horne in the halves, more of an attacking threat. If Obst is fit then he can spell with Houghton like Burrow will be doing for Leeds, can see Burrow tearing us apart again.'"
I think you are being a tad harsh, the team as a whole as struggled to score points when it has come up against a top side. Jordan Turner for me has being great in the back end of the season and I see no reason to drop him from the team. Whiting on the wing is just so show shocking its unbelievable, we know he doesn't have the pace to go the distance hence why we always go to our left. It'll be Whiting on the wing and Turner in the but should we go for a pacy winger I would not drop turner. I'd play Whiting off the bench.
As is well documented I am not a huge Richard Horne fan however I feel the past month or so he has looked a real threat with ball in hand and I bet he has a fair few try assists to his name. I believe this is because Obst and him have forged a good partnership, not world class but it can do a job. With no Obst we will likely see Horne at first receiver again and we all know that's not where he needs to be. Westerman is just as good at LF and SR as he would be at playing SO.
As for sharp I agree with East Hull FC fan.

I'm fairly sure you can pay on the gate, it wont be a sell out.

| Quote: knocker norton "I would have played Whiting at right centre to tighten up our defence on the fringe and brought in Sharp on the wing for pace. Not a slight on Turner but more horses for courses.
That bench doesnt look game changing enough to me I reckon Leeds will have a expected the team Wolfie lists and prepared accordingly.'"
Rather than gambling on a last ditch tackle from Whiting/Turner, the impetus should be on closing down the pivtoal players who are creating the opportunities down Hall's side of the pitch. If you cut off the supply, then the source runs dry.

But that's not the problem, IMO. It's more the fact that when we play a top side, that's when his defensive issues come to the fore again.

No doubt we'll see a lot of pointing from him today.
Struggles to commit himself to the tackle at times, still not decisive enough for me in both defence and attack.
He needs to pull players out with him rather than standing infield and pointing out.

When I rang the Leeds ticket office the other day (I don't live in Hull and it wouldn't have got to me in time from the KC) he told me not to bother buying in advance as there were plenty of tickets available on the day.

| Bucketing down with rain in Bradford and looks worse in Leeds. So much for the BBC weather forecast this morning.
