| The first half was very unusual. Hull put all the pressure on and we only got in your 20 metre area twice, but scored both times.

| Quote: Suzie "What was wrong with his observation from where I was sat he's got it spot on? He did hand them 12 points and he did cost us an easy 6 points. I've watched it on Sky plus again and it was there for all to see but obviously I must be on glue too!!
Whiting was another culprit who was extremely poor but he will always get stood up by any winger worth his salt which as been proved a few times this year.'"
Yup u must be on the same Glue.. Agree to disagree!

| Quote: Ellam "Just think yes last week he was outstanding but he isn't near our top 4 this year.'"
I think the supporters' award was in recognition of the role he has played, or should I say roles. He is the "go to" man to cover shortfalls in squad depth and for that matter talent. It's unusual to have a player like him, essentially a loose forward, playing full back/centre/wing and to a lesser degree second row. He makes mistakes in all positions but has performed to the best of his ability in all. I am surprised to a degree that the supporters have been as discerning as they have with this award, but they are right to recognise his value to the squad and the way he conducts himself on the field (and off it). Over the season I feel he has deserved this recognition. Not good at times last night but then I would argue that Manu and Yeaman were just as bad and others were worse.

| Well, quite. It amazes me how Whiting can go through the season as our most consistent player, win the supporters' player of the year whilst playing out of position, then be vilified for one bad game. We're fortunate to have a player that can do what he can do.

| I will give an honest assessment of last night, thought moa had a good game, westerman looked the only real threat in attack, danny washbrook, dowes, radford, thank goodness he didn't come to us have gone at the game,i thought horne had a reasonable game, manu decent in bits, but finally if richard whiting won one of your player of the year awards,it speaks volumes for how average you are. Whiting very alert, but cant run, cant tackle, says it all.!

He doesn't do the graft in defence our forwards do

| Quote: Darkside Dave "Yeah I thought that for a SuperLeague winger Whiting had a shocker. Let's face it we all know how bad his defence is after last week. No vision, no commitment. In fact I'd get rid!
Westerman and Whiting had lapses in defence last night.
I dont know how Whiting's defence against Cas last week can be criticised though, he was outstanding, he made four try saving tackles and had Willie Isa in his pocket. He even got highlighted on boots n all for it.
The worst thing about the first half from a Hull perspective was Ryan Atkins, he's playing well.

| Westerman blew two easy chances for you to score by ignoring massive overlaps. Who knows how they could have changed the game in your favour.

| We lost the game when we started having to make substitutions.
You could see Wire step up another level as they smelt blood when Dowes and Radford came on.

You're right we are average, but don't kid yourself that your lot are any different.

| They took their chances and we never, that was the story of the first half. Game was gone then.
