The "we’re not too far off" comment was reeled out after just a few games of this season (and last season for that matter). Now we are four games from the end of the season are he has the audacity to spout this rubbish again. It sort of begs the question, why has nothing changed in overall results? If, as Agar says, the players are putting in all the effort they can it MUST be an issue with tactics!!
As another poster has put, I hope we are "not too far off" seeing the back of Agar.
If Mr Pearson or one of his employees does read these boards, then please be aware that keeping Agar in charge for another season will have a very much detrimental effect on attendances and revenue. Put an experianced coach who can handle big name players in charge and attandances and revenues will go up significantly, IMO.'"

The longer Rich Agar stays the more damage he is doing to the clubs long term future, this season is over and we should be planning for next. It matters not where we finish in the league now, an eighth place and an exit in the first round is the best we have to look forward to.
Clear the decks, blood some youngsters, bring in a new coach and establish a better working relationship with everyone involved with the club before its too late.

Personally I see this as an opportunity for Rule to stamp his authority on the situation as he has the fall back of telling AP that the previous regime never listened to him. |

In Agar's defence, I don't think the effort of the players can really be faulted either. We've not had a proper tonking this year (yet) and I can think of many many FC teams over the years who've given up at half time and got utterly crushed in the second half.
But surely this is the point. The effort is there, it's not being properly directed or utilised. Isn't that the job of the coach?
