Thaler showed how pathetically weak he is tonight. Wigan happily ignored his directives and he couldn't deal with it. The tackle on Moa looked dodgy to me it's rare you see a player single someone out like that after being injured.

All the top teams seem to get away with infringements. Its because they play the ref as far as they can. We wont be moaning next year when we are doing it to them now will we.

I'm sure wigan fans will have a great season next year with a "highly regarded, up and coming, young British coach" in charge and quality signings like lauaki to replace inferior players like hoffman

I'm a massive believer in referee's unwittingly adapting or making allowances for either a team,or a player who constantly breaks the rules. wether it be tackling tecniques,running with your elbow raised,lifting your knees while carrying the ball or just general infringements. This is evident when you get certain players getting warning letters from the RFL or appearing in front of the disciplinary and they just carry on doing it till everyone either gets bored or just gives up. After a short while it becomes accepted as that person,or teams natural style. Most refs will only penalise someone so many times before they let it go. There is the odd exception but they're few and far between.

Firstly the Ref had no bearing on the game last night, Wigan did enough to win even though far from their best.

Now the Turner try viewing the replays there is no definitive shot that says Horne did touch the ball, so at worst it would have been given as benefit of the doubt.

Richards was passing the ball from in the tackle and Whiting gladly took the ball as it left Richards hand.
