| i was in the north, towards the right side of the sticks and it looked like it was hit out 3 on 1...when the try was given, Gleeson looked bemused.
before i say it was right or wrong, i'd like to see it again, as i don't want to jump to conclusions...but on first view in real time, it looked like it was knocked out by one of the 3 KR defenders

| Yes I thought he dropped it tbh, but what pi**ed me off was before Rovers first try they pulled the ball out and Ganson gave a knock on and Rovers scored straight after.

| Yeah, the first try sounded more dubious. i listened on Radio yorkshoire and even Andy Kelly said that Whiting had the ball stripped.
Either way, we're simply not good enough.

| The only thing you can see from the TV footage is Briscoe's arm wrapping around the ball just before it comes free. Impossible to say whether it was reefed or dropped, but Gleeson immediately appeals to Ganson for two men in the tackle so he clearly thought it had been reefed.
Either way it doesn't really matter as we should never have been in the position where that try was crucial.

I'm sure he promised us a right royal tonking yesterday as well as opposed to them just scraping past a poor fc performance.

| Not saying it was but stripping is the norm. How many times a game does it occur and the ref gives a knock-on.

OLD FAITHFUL PAL OF MINE: |
|
| I was in the North stand but did not see the incident clearly because I thought Gleeson was tackled, the play was complete and Hull were dropping out from under the sticks so had a slurp of beer! It certainly was not one on one though. Have to watch it on sky again.

| This incident just goes to highlight how far we are behind other sports in terms of tv coverage and camera angles, if that was football and if it was a ball over the goal line incident then shows like motd would have about 5 different camera angles and they would even go as far as producing a digital image of it and spinning the camera around and zooming in but all we get on our highlight shows is the same camera angle, i know it carnt change the outcome but it just goes to highlight how amateurish our sport is.

Yet the only people who can make a decision in football are the ref and his linesman irrespective of a million different camera angles and digital images.
In Rugby League our refs are miked up to an official in the stands, we have in-goal officials and for TV games we have video refs. We really arnt that amateurish.
Granted they still get stuff wrong.
