I know, I think its some kind of brain disease that is only passed on to Hull fans, Its been the same since Blacklock and still some people just cant connect the dots.

It's a fact though that that he's done very little of note in the first team so far to suggest he will live up to his billing, thank goodness he's got Rich Agar to help develop him though, eh?'"
TBF the job Agar has done developing Tom Briscoe is not too shaby...or Houghton for that matter, I would consider developing young players is one of Agars strengths.

Briscoe was a signing, you could tell he would play SL from the age of about 15, Agar's achievement there was persuading him to sign for us when he could no doubt have had his pick of clubs.
Houghton fair enough, but Agar has failed enough to develop other players that I'd argue he's the exception that proves the rule, and would have come through regardless of who the coach was.

If you actually look at the FC side since Agar took over he has very rarely blooded a young player and always prefers to field an established name.

Even worse when you consider the injury problems we had in his first 2 years in charge

Amen brother!!!
What is it with some of our fans and their apparent lack of appreciation of a Wingers role in the game. Blacklock and Sing were singled out by some without just cause for a similar thing for what Sharp is bing blamed for now.
Sharp is actually rarely out of position. He cannot simply hug the wing, otherwise there is too big a gap from his centre. His centre on the other hand has the benefit of having a collegue either side of him, the winger doesn't. As the winger has to move in field to prevent large gaps appearing, he is hoping the cover defence can cover him or that someones brain doesnt explode and they come running out of the line.

But he hasnt played that well though as he? Granted his centre has left him high and dry a few times but he also hasnt done himslef any favours with some of his half hearted attempts at catching balls and tackling. I wouldnt go as far as saying hes a scapegoat but hes a weak link in the side at present imo.

Some fans are pointing out that hes playing poorly and it stands out in games more than other players...the majority of fans that i have been sat near in the games that i have been to have commented at some point about sharps performances....hardly being made a scapegoat just an observation..

Whether he plays or not, you'll still be targeting our right side defence. If you don't then may I suggest buying Potter a new labrador & white stick
