| apart from agar going, some players need to follow.they were shocking last night.if you cant do the basics right you will never win a game.also o meley was badly missed, dowes and radford were totally ineffective going foreward.wakefield were a very average team, just doing the basics right, totally committed and playing for each other.take note fc players.

spot on with everything you say.
just look at what it meant to the wakey players, this is my 33rd year as a fan of fc and ive never felt like i do now,in all them years ive had fc running through my veins, now i cant even get up for game day,i used to get excited just getting ready and putting my shirt on,now i think oh boll-x its rugby tonight shall i or shant i,sat talking to my mate at the game about premier league darts and not interested in the team ive loved and followed for all them years, some of the things i witnessed last night is what you see at billy smarts circus and not on a rugby pitch by well paid players, ive got a full coach going to quins for the weekend and the only thing thats in the way of a good weekend is the fact that fc are playing, how can we go from a superb performance and team spirit at wigan to a pile of sh-te like last night.
I can honestly say its a very long time since ive felt like this, things are going to get very nasty mark my word,it wasnt a pleasent site at the end of the game last night also outside the ground, i reckon come monday everyone will of got there wish.
spoke to tommy martyn last night and he said he was once on the bench when chants like that happened and he said it was not very pleasent.
Im done in now and realy dont know what to make of it all.

| I came away from the kc last night with my son with a feeling inside ive never felt before as a black and white fan, i too feel the players need to take a long hard luck at themselves after last nights performance! We have the best ground in superleague, a brilliant off the field set up, passionate and loyal fans what is going wrong is beyond me,ok the coach is supposed to take the flack as he is in charge of the team but i dont think he was at fault for some of the mistakes our players were making of which i expect to see at my sons sunday morning games who are young lads still learning the game but not at superleague level for pitys sake!We have players who make breaks and theres no one there backing up!We looked lethargic and slow! then i came home and watched the wigan hudds game and i thought i,d put it on fast forward because that what it seemed like after what id just watched! There is something wrong somewhere and i dont just think its the coach!

Good to have you back, shame about the circumstances. Your post sums up my feelings since last season well too, the buzz I used to get from Hull FC has just died.

I don't think it has died in any of us, it's just in a coma. The appointment of a quality head coach could revive everyone.

Know exactly what you mean, wolfie. The strange thing is that in my head I'd been expecting a win and a big win last night as despite the fact we'd only won one of the last 8, Wakey have been through the wringer and we were at home with the likes of Fitz, Manu, Briscoe, Long, Westerman, Tickle all fit. It soon became clear that the Wigan game was a one-off in terms of intensity. Driving back the 75 miles to West Yorkshire was the first time in probably 6 years that I've questioned why we bother to organise our lives round following the club. Money is tight and I can see gates plummeting unless the club is seen to be taking some action here. Good to see you back on here BTW.

Same sentiments here Mrs B. We're off to London next week to visit a friend and I'm seriously debating whether to go to the game on Sunday. Flights are booked for the South of France for an anniversary holiday, which on current plans includes a drive to Perpignan for our game there. Not sure I want to now.

I'll raise you 120 miles back to Staffordshire
Seriously I agree with all you say and Wolfie before. After Crusaders then Wigan I thought we were progressing. Last night was the absolute pits. There is no way that team with that coach can go 5th or better this season. The lack of intensity was unreal after the previous week. The players looked lethargic and tired and the errors followed. There's a poor mindset and a poor level of fitness IMO. Wholesale change is needed.

Forgetting the other Agar "argument" for a moment but have any players left and really gone and excelled at other clubs?? I dont see any of the above as having really done so unless you count one game against us last night and Hall apparently having a resonable game against Salford. And despite being under a great coach according to some at Huddersfield I havent seen any real improvement in Graham Horne.

If they act now it's not too late. Nobby on a "rest of the year" deal as either coach or DOR (to save the board's face) if necessary. Would be loath to give him more than this at this point as I want the board to demonstrate their commitment to us fans by spending whatever it takes for the best coach available for next season. Please, God, not McNamara as there is no point in going through the pain for no gain.
Wolfie - you mentioned the well-paid players, do you now think Agar has taken them as far as he can? What do you think will happen on Monday?
