| Well I'll be there, friendlies aside it's my first game of the year and I'm actually quite looking forward to it. However I guess the fact that I love rugby league and want to spend my Friday night watching the team I support makes me a sheep.
I have been watching Hull since I was 6 years old, and will still be supporting them on the day I die. The Agar thing will take it's course and whether it takes a week or several years for him to go it will just be another chapter in our long history. So in the mean time I will concentrate my efforts on supporting the boys and hoping they can turn it around rather than acting like a petulant child.

Can some one clarify for me, when the club announce the attendence is the figure given, just the one recorded via the turnstiles or is it the 'pay @ the gate figure plus the number of season ticket holders? The reason for this question is apart from the empty seats how will the 'penny drop'.

If wanting our club to be succsesful makes me petulant then fair enough. But please tell me, i would love to know, how as a fan can you get your message across to the club that you are not happy with the way 'our' club is been run, managed, coached??
We cant put up banners because that may 'upset the players and put them off'.
We cant boycott a game because that makes us petulant children.
So please enlighten me!!

And it's that sort of apathy that the club now rely on. If we all want change then not attending one game as a protest will not kill you, but attending will probably bore you to death.
We need to look at the bigger picture here and just because you don't turn up to support the boys for one game will not make a blind bit of difference to the players but will show the board we have had enough and hopefully that the tide is turnng against them. It will not make you any lesser of a fan.
I have been a Hull fan for many years too but will not attend whilst that clown is in charge as I can't stomach watching how boring and disappointing we are.
I attended Cardiff in hope and expectation and spent the best part of £500 that weekend so don't let your over exhuberance to see your first game cloud the issue here. We need Agar away from our club to progress.

| We were sat at the other side of the stand to the banner and only noticed it during the 2nd half. Fair play to the lads for having the courage of their convictions. I didn't see the incident at the end of the game with Meley so cannot pass comment on that.
Like many posters have alluded i think the protest that would get the board to sit up and take notice would be one that got less bums on seats.

People don't go to games out of apathy. Someone who is apathetic is not likely to go to the effort and expense of attending a live game.
Whether someone wants to attend a game or not is a personal choice, and all this nonsense about 'the bigger picture' is just that - nonsense. Attendances will look after themselves and trying to convince a few people on here to stay away will achieve nothing other than to cause rifts between fans through the use of intemperate language.

Are you a passholder?

In cases like Mr Z Head it's not just apathy, it's martyrdom. It's one thing to just blithely go along and support the team each week disregarding the bigger picture, people can do whatever they like. But when the people who take that position disparage those who do not, implying that they are somehow an inferior type of fan, then it borders on the ridiculous.

| If passholders dont go that will send a huge message to the board. They've paid for all the home games and still not turning up.

If hundreds of people send James Rule an email stating their displeasure then he will have to take notice. The players, for all their shortcomings, are obviously putting in the effort and they don't deserve to be playing infront if an empty stadium.

You just dont get it do you.
The apathy he speaks of is the 'we will continue to pay our money no matter what dross is served up to us, we dont care that we are getting taken for a ride'.
