Cuddle Club Rules 1. You dont talk about Cuddle club 2. YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT CUDDLE CLUB!!!! PS3 tag = Robbo_4444:20348.jpg

Quote: east hull FC fan "You're taking it to the extreme, 3 games is too early to judge how the season will pan out in people who are highly regarded within the games opinion.'"

Its not just 3 games though and coaches of other clubs telling fans who've watched every minute of every game what their opinion should be of their own club should be ignored IMO. If enough fans share the same opinion then their opinion does matter as it will have an affect on the club in the long run.

No one is judging Agar on just 3 games though are they? just the past 3 seasons in which playing personnel have changed but not our style of play. Do you wipe your memory slate clean after every season just to approach the next with blind unswerving loyalty.
You're just making yourself look foolish with comments like these. Of course every fan is entitled to an opinion regardless of wealth or standing in the game. We are the ones that keep this club in business.

I don't think people are saying that they expect the board to automatically listen to what we have to say, but that certainly does not mean we are not entitled to an opinion!!
I think even the most loyal Agar followers must be starting to see that we are not moving forwards on the pitch at least, and i'm sure the board will notice if the unrest of the fans starts to hit them in the pockets!!
Maybe then they will listen to the opinions of the lowly fans!!

Of course Nathan Brown wants our coach to stay - that'll mean two more points when they come here for the return fixture icon_smile.gif Seriously though, all the coaches stick together and no player is ever going to come out and slate Richard Agar even if he does think he's not upto the job. Yes, we're only three games in but if anyone believes we'll be anywhere near contenders for either piece of silverware then they are sadly, sadly mistaken. All of the '18th Man' blind faith business only stretches so far for me and to be honest, I've run out of patience with it. Yes, we all support our club but whilst some supporters are realistic, others just continue to regurgitate the spin that we get from the club.

Well he does describe the criticism as being "unfair" and says its "far too early to take drastic action" and says that Agar's game plan is not the cause of the defeats.

I don't agree with him, but those are the comments attributed to him.

I'd kind of agree with his last point, if you don't count bench use as part of the game plan. Fundamental shortcomings in defence and attack are the main problem. No worries there, then. icon_smile.gif

Cooke seems to be making the same 'mistake' as a number of other commentators and focussing on just three losses rather than the underlying problems that simply haven't been addressed throughout his tenure.

As a fan of nearly 35 years I have grown an emotional attachment to the club. That attachment is quickly being erroded by the dross being served up on the pitch. It is in danger of wilting and dying if things don't improve soon. I like every other Hull fan only need to see an improvement in attitude and commitment and style of Rugby to have that emotional tie flourishing again.
3 years though of dire performances are taking their toll. Ok we have had a few highs but they are so quickly forgotten when you see performances like we have seen this year and also at Murryfield, Salford, Crusaders Wakefield etc last season. Add in big games like Leeds 3 games , Rovers play off, Wigan x 2 Wire x 2 last season and it all adds up.
Others from outside the fans and the club will only see 3 games this year. They don't have that emotional attachment that we do. They are only interested in themselves.
It annoys the life out of me when supporters of other clubs come on here saying we are over reacting. Some troll yes, but others seem to think they are being intelligent and balanced. They don't see the team week in week out. I as a RL supporter could see that Cullen had run his course at Wire, but would never try and balance that by saying a Wire fan was over reacting when they were going insane about him.
Thankfully our board do not have the same emotional attachment to the club as us fans. If they did they would run it into the ground with debts. Its a receipe that can only have disasterous consequences in the long run. But I expect the board to listen to the fans and not the likes of Nathan Brown (unless he is the next coach )
I don't like this "we pay their wages" attitude but without us fans supporting the club both physically and financially they will be on their way. With that in mind yes I and everyone who has ever supported the club is entitled to have an opinion. The boards job is to listen and act on what they see as the most important on our behalf. If they cock a deaf un for too long then you get apathy and this can grow and become cancerous and have dire effects on the club. We are starting to see the beginnings of that now.
