Totally agree! Agar has had 3 seasons now and a number of assistants but the end results are still the same and we still show the same poor patterns of play and lack any idea of moving forward as a team instead of prefering to play one out rugby or have players stood still when receiving the ball or go that deep we lose ground. Defensively we were all over the place and he still can not manage to use the interchange well.
For me he has had time enough top have improved the showing we got yesterday and he has failed to do that.
Time for Agar and the board to realise he is not the man to move us forward on the pitch and go.
I am so fed up of watching the same just a different season, enough is enough.

I might not use as strong a word as pathetic, but I'm afraid I can't understand any supporter actually wanting us to lose no matter what the circumstances. And that's without even taking into account the fact that there's no guarantee whatsoever that a few losses will solve anything.

Wouldn't you think after the huge investment in Long/O'Mealey/Fitz/Westerman/Tansey that the board would want to see some kind of return on the field in respect to style of play and leadership from the head honcho.
We feel to be in a permenant transition period, I would hope the board would be having 2nd thoughts in the wisdom os standing by him, if they do bite the bullet the question remains on his replacement......Noble would be a massive statement IMO.

Others think hes an old guard with old ideas and would welcome someone better. Its ok saying get rid of agar but if your not going to replace him with quality then maybe its not the right time

| I won't be there but that's got nothing to do with the performance, I'd certainly be going if I could get the time off.
Besides, the Rovers game was par for the course wasn't it? You all said we would lose and many of you said it would be a drubbing, so what's the big deal?
I'm still hopeful of something against Leeds though, their squad is not much more than avarage without Peacock and McGuire an they have the one coach in Superleague that is worse than Agar.
We need to improve alot on yesterday but I'm not going to write off our season based on one game.

| I do not want the team to loose to Leeds on Friday but I am concerned by the way Richard Agar manages the teaam. I do not believe that he should remain as head coach. He should consider either leaving or if there is an opening elsewhere within the club, he should take it.
I believe that the team need new ideas etcetera, otherwise the season will be over before it has really begun. This is not a knee-jerk re-action.

| It's early days for both teams and Leeds showed that they can leak tries. I for one do not think we will win by a cricket score.

Agree if it did not guarantee solving any problems then of course I would not want do see them lose, however that is why I put if I thought it would sort out the problems. My line of thought was short time loss for long term gain I suppose. I have always wanted Agar to succeed but the doubts keep mounting, although I feel having Phelps & Obst could really help so I feel more optimistic again now

Well nothing will ever change with fans like you now that is a fact I am afraid! Agar got it very very wrong yesterday and most can see that, his rotations were a joke, I accept it is only the first game but it would help if he knew how to rotate his team!
