| Quote: rover49 "The south stand has always been a concession stand, we have charged full pops to other sides (Warrington in the cup I think was one), if you are going to sell enough tickets for a particular event then why the hell should you apply concessions, it makes no business sense whatsoever, I doubt your lot would discount for us. There is a difference between choosing NOT to apply a discount and jacking the price up.'"
You might want to look up the legal definition of a discount and then revisit that statement.

So why don't they put the prices up for the KR fans on derby day as well then? Or do their fans not need policing as they are angels?
It's an awful and poorly thought out "excuse" to try and justify his real reasons.

Why would we put the price up? We don't even put the prices up for the south stand, we just don't put them down either!
It's supply and demand, if we expect it to sell out why give a discount, I don't care about the view or weather when going to support my team and don't expect any discounts.
We put the price down for teams who don't bring many and try and encourage away supporters who are paying for travel on top of admission.

Don't try and feed us bullish*t, fella. It's pretty insulting to try and pass it off as that. The fact is it's £10 to get in for everyone else. The normal price is £10. The price for Hull fans is nearly double.

Again, if it's expected to sell out and it's down to supply and demand, why aren't the prices up across the board? Why only Hull fans? Why not a "discount" for all you Robins fans during the season and then "RRP" for the Hull derby? I'll tell you why - because your fans would be outraged (just like we are). You'd still get people to go, but they'd complain about it. Some would stay away. So don't feed us all this crap about how loyal you are and how you're a better supporter than us Hull fans.

How could they do that when people have already paid for their pass at the start of the season though?
FTR I agree with Hull fans on this, the South Stand should be the same price as against other clubs.

Every Hull KR fan has a season pass?
When Hull put up their prices by £1 for charity, it's across the board, not just for he Rovers lot. This is why these "supply and demand" and "policing costs" excuses are terrible. There is supply from both sets of fans, and there are crowd problems from both sets of fans, but only Hull fans have to pay for it? We're just being ripped off, end of.

| I see the usual Rovers numpties are trying to defend this crap again. Why is the number of reasonable Rovers fans who can see this for what it is so small? I'm sure that prat Hudge is actually Derren Brown or something with the amount of crap he can get your average Rovers fan to swallow. Any minute now one of them will be along to tell us how Club Rovers was the best thing to ever happen to them.

No but I meant for the 6000 who do.
Like I said I agree 100%, he cannot justify doing it.

| Quote: Kosh "Not if fans of all other clubs pay less.'"
There is no demand from most other clubs. Last few times I've been it has been shut. If and when the South Stand is replaced by something better I'd expect others to pay more. My point to the previous poster was clarifying that I meant better facilities would lead to a fairer deal for Hull FC fans, rather than cutting security costs.

You're bitter because Neil was horrid? Bit thin-skinned innit? Which particular comments have especially wounded you?

But when there [iis[/i demand they pay £10 a head. This is clearly the 'normal' price under every bit of consumer law that applies.
Quote: Mild Rover "You're bitter because Neil was horrid? Bit thin-skinned innit? Which particular comments have especially wounded you?'"
If I had the money I'd buy each and every Rovers fan a dictionary so that they could look up the definition of 'bitter'. Taking offence at another's comments and responding accordingly is not bitterness.
The Grudge has made it abundantly clear that he has nothing but contempt for our club and fans. No real surprise that we reciprocate the sentiment, is it?
Quote: Mild Rover "Absolutely.'"
So there's no problem with FC fans choosing to not turn up then? Cool.

| Just a couple of quick questions.
1. Were Hull FC fans charged more for the derby at CP when the pitch invasion happened?
2. Were Hull KR fined after that match for not having adequate stewarding etc in place?
