| Quote: fc baldy "I was there that day and remember Fred giving Casey a right good hiding....who did Casey start on to get Freds gander up...was it Divorty......also remember chanting easy easy easy as we was scoring for fun in the end.'"
Wasn't it just a typical cheap hit on the scrum half from Casey that started it? That was his "hard man" forte, cowardly hits on what is usually the oppositions smallest player- except that to his obvious horror this one came back and thrashed him. Him losing the GB captaincy was a bonus as well. Horrible person was Casey, though he did far greater damage to Hull as a coach than he ever managed playing for the dobbins.

The end with the greyhound score board only had a roof over 1/3 of it.
Didn't have big gaping holes in the corners though did it

| Quote: Dalek "I think a few players may have a trip to the disciplinary committee this week. It would be a real shame if we lost some key players for the Wigan game
The committee will definately looking at the fight and Lauaki's incident on video and I could see all the Tongan mafia having cases to answer.
Manu was named by one touch judge as having run 40 yards to get involved in the fight
Sam Moa was beating the life out of Liam Watts
Lauaki's two left hooks to Fox surely will not go unpunished
Tansey also raced a long way to get involved with the fight
I dont know how the disciplinary committee reacts to players who dont start an incident but I think it will be a nervous Monday/Tuesday for us'"
A few rollockings i.m.o.
The ironic thing was the way it was all grins and backpats when the game ended.

Was funny that. Cockayne looked to be congratulating Tom Briscoe as well.

I'd be very surprised and a tad miffed if any of our players had a case to answer. Cockayne was clearly responsible for starting the fight. The first Hull player on the scene other than Calderwood was Turner who tried to calm the situation. The fight only got out of hand after Netherton ran 30 meters to come steaming in, after that it was a free for all. The only players who could be called to red hall for that incident are the two Rovers players already mentione.
Lauaki will also have no case to answer imo after he gave Fox a little slap for pushing him for steaming in and giving him a shove for no apparent reason.
Edited. FFS grow up.
Kosh.

A little slap....it was a uppercut Lennox Lewis would be proud of.

Bent nose should have been penalised for a voluntary tackle!
Should be no more than a few tickings off for other players. Derby's should be like origin games and looked at differently by the panel

I think you'll find it was the other way round and Watts was beating the hell out of Moa! It was completely unnecassary for Cockayne to start throwing punches although a small part of me felt Calderwood deserved it because he is a coward. At this point it was merely handbags but what I felt caused it to get more severe was when another coward Danny Tickle threw some hard punches at Cockayne while he was being held back and unable to defend himself. I feel Cockayne and Tickle should get a ban although Lauki shouldn't because although he lifted Briscoe beyond the horizontal position he knew it was wrong and put him down gently.

I really shouldn't, but, Moa was already involved in a scuffle with someone before Watts decided to throw a punch at him. Tickle threw one punch at Cockayne while NOBODY was holding him back (Turner had just let go) then had to turn to his right to see the coward that had punched him from the side.
But anyway, you'll have a different take on events, obviously.
