We would need two hookers, Houghton and most other hookers could do the 80 minutes but why bother? You must have two hookers in modern day RL and Houghton would need cover from the bench. |

Not interested in how much they get paid, more interested in how they perform...if some kid is on 25k and does a better job on the pitch he is in over a 125k player for me. |

Could it be an option for FC to strike up a link with the NRL and loan some of our top youngsters out there for 12 months for development?
Would be massively beneficial long term to get Houghton signed on a 5 year contract but loan him to the NRL for a season.
