fair play mate, respect the fact you have stuck to your opinion of Agar despite the majority on here disagreing with you and sometimes mocking you.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "I don't think that's entirely fair. Agar's been in the job 2 years now. We're spending up to the cap but his squad is not balanced and we have one recognised winger, a 34 year old scrum half with NO back-up in this crucial position and only really O'Meley as a class prop. The team and Agar openly admit to not studying the opposition to formulate a gameplan and Agar comes out with comments like "I told them to have a good dig" and "I told them - if you see it, play it" which are hardly meticulously detailed plans. James Webster commented on the fact that Justin Morgan, for example, provides far more detail and direction in terms of tactics and individual contributions. Look at what Brown and Maguire have done with non-superstar squads and you can see the impact of top class coach. Agar seems nice and works very hard, but to settle for him is accepting failure to challenge for silverware IMO.'"
Got to agree with the points made above

Sums it all up for me. It was always a big risk with Long granted, but then a decent coach would have made sure there were contingency plans. Our contingency plan seems to be if Long is out stick Washy in there as he has done it many times before (regardless of the fact the partnership has yet to suceed). The fact we have all heard players say they concentrate on their own game rather than the opposition speaks volumes about the coach and his staff for me.
I admire Wolfie for sticking to his beliefs about Agar and people should not be getting on at him about it. I think Wolfie would not be too upset if we parted ways with Agar and brought in a big name coach with with a good pedigree.
Lets face it Hull are one of the big clubs and it should be the smaller clubs who are test driving the unknown coaches. Leeds took Smith from Huddersfield after he proved he can do a job with a poor squad. Time we started doing the same.

Agree with Mrs B and........
The main reason for me is Moa
It was such a wrong and totally unfair decision...any coach worth his salt encourages players to earn their shirt, however Agar does not he has favourites and this is not good enough in any team, let alone a SL team.

Moa,Hall ,even the way he treated Thorman away at Cas last season.Thought that was well out of order, and I am no Thorman fan.

| I seem to recall Agar saying during a recent interview that if he did not think he could take the club forward then he would step aside. We have a far better squad but RA is not getting anything like the best out of them, good bloke, poor SL coach (IMO). Started brightly against Saints & Hudds and basically went down hill from there. Have a good look in the mirror Richard and please step aside because the club won't have the balls to do it. I still can't believe the April 1st announcement of his contract extension and personally think were stuffed for this season and part of next before anything happens.

Agreed Mrs B. I've not said much about Agar since he took over fully as the "not his players" and the injury situation went, I felt completely against him. Now with his "own" team and unfortunately, some injuries again, I've just lost patience. I was embarrassed by how poor we were yesterday and the buck stops with the coach.
For that reason
I'm out.
