And that was £25 against the biggest team in the land.'" Hull City selling 50,000 shirts is an impossibility:theres more chance of Rovers building a new North stand
Hull city v Man u did sell out and could have sold thousands more.

well it does seem to repeatedly happen, all 3 clubs financial history is littered with shady characters and stupid decisions.

Did he show enough care & attention when he sold the club to Duffen, Bartlett & co in the first place?
IIRC they’d attempted unsuccessfully to buy into other football clubs before City.'"
You don't seriously believe that Adam Pearson actually owned City do you?

Lets look at facts
With all the new Chinese fans after the pre season there (how much did that set em back!) 50,000 for a Prem side is reasonable, 25k in the City of Hull is very conservative, that leaves approx 7 billion people to buy 25,000 shirts?
City DID NOT sell out at home to Man U. I personally was offered 4 seats, there were approx 30 seats in north west empty
As for the away game, City had over 200 tickets out of 3000 on GENERAL sale yesterday for the game tomorrow. (so much for the massive support there eh?)
Duffen got rid of the City away club (much to the disgust of proper loyal fans) so all had a chance to get away tickets, 21,000 season ticket holders and they cannot get 3000 to Manchester?
Cant City fans go to a game on sat? Again i was offered up to 4 tickets for tomorrow.

| The game certainly was a sell out because I know of people that rang to get tickets. You may have been offered some, but it's a fairly safe bet they weren't offered by the club, but by someone that had already paid for them.
Tomorrows game is also sold out with City fans having to get tickets in the home stand. Again, any tickets you're being offered will not be being offered by the club but more likely corporates.
From a club that can sell out in their own City, to try to say 4 tickets being available (despite being already sold)is an issue is laughable.

| Usual nonsense from ill-informed rugby league fans. Every single available ticket for the Man Utd game was sold. The reason for slightly less atendance than another couple of games was the police and ground safety officer insisted on less tickets being sent to Man Utd because they refuse to sit down. Why that should make any difference is something they will have to explain. Again all tickets have been sold for Saturday. How many times do the rugby clubs take 3,000 away (and how many would they take if they were having to pay £50 a ticket seeing as they complain about £20 being too expensive to see a game on the other side of Hull and only take 600 for the biggest derby in the universe and everywhere else)? If they do then a lot of the home fans myst stay away as the attendances don't seem any different to wehn they are playing other clubs so either other clubs take as many, home fans don't turn up for a visit from the two "world-famous" Hull clubs or somebody is exaggerating.

You could well have done, but obviously that would have been before they sold out and doesn't seem to be two of the four you claim to have been offered later, so I take it was right that they were ones that had already been paid for.
Just a guess, but are you one of those Hull born Man U fans people laugh at? Funny how they don't apply the same logic and support Salford RL isn't it?

| 1. Nowt to do with FC
2. Pending legal action makes this topic potentially dodgy
3. It's City troll bait
Ergo - locked.
