Has to be Cooke, when whiting scored from marcus bai's silly silly offload over his own line, then he redeemed himself by scoring a try and my head was in my hands i was so upset then then cooke's cheeky dummy past the big tired forward classic

Best scored some corkers in his time and the two at London away when we drew were absolute blinders.
Cookes try in the ccf in 05 had the best feeling to it.
Prescott against saints out running Albert.
Blacklock against Leeds away a few years ago.
S.Briscoe against Bradford away scored 4 i think.
Was G.Mackays full lengther against salford away in the noughties or nineties

Looks a simple try doesnt it. The interesting thing was about the fact that the play was meant to go the other way but Cooke cleverly lined himself up against Danny Ward and gave an 'overcall' to the acting half to say the ball needed to go to him and not as per the agreed play.

He deserves credit for the try, clever play and won us the cup.

Fair points, lots of individual instances won us the cup, if one of those things hadnt have happened we wouldnt have won the cup, therefore you could argue individually that any of those points won us the cup, as i did.

Most important try was Crooke's.
My favourite was Prekkie's.

i struggle to remember tries from the season just past (and lets be fair good tries last season were few and far between) reading about some of the ones people have put sparks the memory banks though.

One often forgotten as the game was dead and burried by this time, but Hornes try against St's in the 2005 semi was a real belter.
