After a poor start defensively (although no poorer than the usually reliable Raynor), he was fine. As always, he looked dangerous in attack through strength and good footwork, and he is capable of putting his winger away having drawn the opposite winger. Just a pity that he didn't defend anything like he should have against Senior early on (i.e. get in his face as soon as he gets the ball and tackle low).

Also Yeaman should be instructed, not to jump out of the defensive line,
so fast ,that he exposes his winger, to an overlap.
This is happening on a regular occurence.

Him coming out of the line is generally fine as long as he actually tackles the man. |

Unfortunately Graeme Horne is not the standard required for a top 4 club and should be released.
Yeaman was Yeaman tonight - couple of good things and a fair few bad. What said everything about Yeamo for me was during Houghton's fantastic break. He only had support options to the right - Yeamo was scratching his bollox back in his own half as usual.

Radford had a great game, tackled his bollox off, ran the ball in hard, made a couple of offloads and generally put himself all over the pitch, did the full 80 I believe. And as Barry Mac said, he ran his blood to water, just what we needed with a depleted pack and stepped upto the plate as Captain, but there is none so blind as those that will not see. |
