I tell you what, lets keep it, some half baked idea to move back might come along shortly, it might be part of the "takeover master plan".'" liability? the only reason the dogs are stopping is because it never got a good crowd. They will not flatten it since they have just put a quarter of a million into it. It can be used for allot of things

Of course it is a liability, the council have to pay for insurance, maintenance etc. as well as ongoing security etc.
What are the things it can be used for, where is the income stream?

it may not sound much but hull isberg arlfc pay approx£4000 a season plus extras for continued use of the stadium(matchdays, training etc).hull fc will also pay an undisclosed amount to use it for training (1st,reserves and acadamy).don't know of anyone else using it in any way,but i'm certain there will be.i think the council will keep it going for the short term to see what income can be brought in,and also to let schools use it(?).but i think eventually unless someone takes over the greyhounds side of things, they will close it and knock the remainder down

The thing is there is a recession on.Do you really think they would pour HRA money at this time?.You only have to look at Boothferry Park to see nobody could care less about regeneration.

It depends, the pressure on HCC to start a new build programme may increase given changes at DCLG yesterday and in the coming week, if so then the Boulevard and Boothferry Park areas are ideal for regeneration as land clearance would be minimal.
