i wouldn't question his comitment,just his performances of late

Horne doesn't have what it takes to be a top stand off or scrum half. Worth a shot at Full Back maybe if Tony goes, I have never being Horne's biggest fan he just doesn't bring enough to the role that he is required to do for me or when he does its never consistant enough.

Love him to prove me wrong but I very much doubt that.

I reckon it will be quite some time before a Hull player equals or betters his 'tries in consecutive games' record. Every back we have is appearing to be worse than they are because they are playing behind a consistently beaten pack. Horney was fantastic off Carvell's shoulder and good at attacking defences that are on the back foot. He's had pretty much no opportunity to do that this season.

my oopinion is that horne seems a yard of the pace this season...he doesnt make as many breaks as he used to etc etc, but time is ticking on his career, over 10 years at the top makes you wonder if his body has seen better days unfortunatly.....
lets be honest theres been times this season where he has been merely a passsenger at times, wether this was down to injury i dont know, but a serious neck injury and him taking to the field looking like a mummy at times doesnt bode well for the future of richard horne...

FFS. Horne has a run of bad games in a team where just about everyone is doing or has done the same, the season after recovering from a career-threatening neck injury and learning to cope with diabetes. And some of you want to write him off already?

Add that to the fact i think he has had one bad spell in over 10 years where he has been slated for his poor form.

We were touting him for Man of Steel at the start of the season. He has been disappointing the last few games, admittedly. I'd love to see him back at FB, if only because he can actually take a ball on the full. Put Tony at 6.

horne should be at fullback and agar shouldnt give tony a new contract when his is up. with long, berro, lee and tansey we have enough cover in the halfs.

I've been to the vast majority of games this season and had to suffer Hall and now Tony at FB. I feel more like I'll be turning 50 this year than 40 as a consequence.

After all hes been through in the past 12 months, just a full season unscathed will do me to get his confidence back in just getting back out there. He'll come good again I have no doubt.
