I just can't go waste my money on supporting that sack of , anyone who does go is just supporting the absolute rubbish being served up by our club on and off the field. Which to me is doing more harm then not going.

Or, possibly, they're supporting their team through thick and thin.

Going or not going is a personal decision, and I don't think it's fair to call people for simply behaving like fans.

Everyone is entitled there opinion Kosh, I've supported the club through many bad teams, being part of only 3000 people who watched us get dicked every week in 1999. At least then we were rubbish but still tried.

i'm a supporter through thick and thing. i hate the way the team are doing at the minute and i'd wish they would improve, just like everyone else but it will not change the fact that i love the sport and love the club.
i'll be there as always supporting them, whatever happens.

Fair enough if your opinion is that people who want to continue to support their team regardless are somehow part of the problem. Seems an odd position to take for a sports fan, however.

If everyone had taken that attitude during the Walsh era there wouldn't be a club now.

I'll be buying my ticket when i get there so kath will not get any of my money. i'm going to support the players on the field who give their all week in week out.

I just feel that aslong as people still keep going to away games and bums are still on the KC seats they won't care what happens with the club. Unless the supporters make them know we won't be taken for mugs.

I'll be stood there with you, and bringing some work colleagues too. They are more excited by the prospect of the rather fit Leeds cheerleaders than the game TBF, but I'm doing my bit.

I honestly didn't see any lack of effort last night. What I did see was a complete lack of leadership, some poor discipline in places, and an abysmal kicking game that constantly put us under pressure from a side with a bigger pack and far superior halfbacks.

I agree with your second point, though. Wire had roughly 70% possession in the second half and a decent side would have turned that into 50 points at least.


I think the board are smarter in this regard than you think. They almost certainly realise that unless things pick up, pass sales next season will be abysmal. They will also have trouble selling corporate packages, which make a larger profit than standard tickets. Plus there will be knock-on effects on sponsorship and advertising.

Any way you look at it, they stand to see a substantial drop in revenue if things carry on as they are - regardless of how many fans carry on going on a match-by-match basis to support the team.
