If by "writing him off" you mean having an opinion that he wouldn't be in my 17 if everyone were fit, then yes, you are correct.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Well if you are happy with no flair centres then you have low expectations dont you........with the right coaching he can be very good.

Standing deep in attack would be a start for our centres (all of the team infact). Really riles me up does that and the defensive line speed.

I can't believe how poor in this part of our game we've become from the first opening set of games. It's gone from "in your face " to one step defence.

| The attacking line is as flat as our defensive line and i get fed up of commenting on it. Also our unwillingness to pressure the kicks we make. (I think it may be due to 90% of our kicks going direct to the opposition player)

| One positive from the Derby was our defence in the last 20. It was as aggressive as i've seen it for a long long time. Some of the hits were absolute corkers. Tommy Lee in particular put some big hits in.
That now needs to set the standard.

Its almost impossible to keep that intensity for 80 mins. Our line speed and big hits suffer because our forwards have to play such long periods without been substituted. Improve the rotation and that will keep those aspects to higher intensity.
Agree when we got into them in last 20 it was fantastic and if we'd been able to hold the ball for 6 we'd have won.
Saying this i can't see why we didnt start like that. my only thought is that the forwards knew they were gonna be on for long periods so tried to pace themselves. clutching at straws but only thing i can think of

Seems to be pretty acurate for me. Manu is stifled because he knows he isn't getting a break and the forwards know they are putting in a minimum of 60mins if they are lucky.

But we should have started stronger and not have left it to the last 20 mins . We had ample time within that first half to demonstrate that "intensity in defense" in that first half.

| i agree we should start like this. baffles me why we dont try that tactic and try keep them fresh by rotating. seems too easy a plan to work doesnt it?
i said couple of weeks ago id use dowes and cusack to spell ewach other. and king, thacks, moa whichever plays to spell each other in the front row
tickle manu radford and burnett when hes fit to rotate 2nd rows
we get 12 interchanges.........any idea how many we actually use?

| So some of the forwards might be looking at a lengthy spell on the pitch!!!!
Isn't it what they train for? You confront what happens there and then, you don't think "I won't bother too hard because I've got another half an hour before they sub me". As for the poor kick chase resulting in kicks going straight to a defender, BS. Pi$$ poor kicks result in the ball going straight to a defender. Hull have the one of the worst kicking games in the league and have done for years. Horne will never have a kicking game while I have a hole in my anorak and Thorman fairs little better. Agar should be showing the Hull players the vid of Berrigan's 40/20 time and again just to reinforce the rule to them.

I also believe Horne was the one who took Cooke's dummy. Hall does worry me though with his one handed carry. It's an accident waiting to happen especially at FB and the coach should pull him up for it.

TBH he hadnt even collected the ball properly when he was tackled. Hall for me isnt at fault at all for that try. Agree though he carries too loosely sometimes.
Horne did take the dummy leaving Tickle to look silly for Cookes try.
