The problem is that some Hull fans have raised their own expectations on the basis of the first five games.

Few Hull fans would accept that although it was a good start to the season, they can only play what is in front of them, but it was obvious that Hull managed to catch certain teams at the right time and the first full strength set of forwards they came up against, in the form of Cas, they lost.

The black and whites then went to a hard working Harlequins team and lost again, and their failings have been exposed today by a team who had lost their previous six matches.

Add to that Agar and his decision to pick Moa ahead of other more experienced forwards and another shambles from the board trying to sign a high profile player without checking the facts first, and I'm afraid Hull FC have big problems if they carry on in the same way this season.

The derby will either bring the best out of Hull FC or they'll buckle under the pressure of a Rovers side who are playing well, either way, it should be a cracking game as ever.

count me in then we'll start on the clubs owners

total boycott of all fans for one game, this friday? ok the game is sold out but it'll bring more attention to the situation if the stadium is 80-90% empty on friday

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...:

I disagree with you there buddy.

The tactics were spot on for early season games when players were fresh and it was no fluke that we won in the manner we did.

However the tactics over the last couple of games have been baffling to say the least. Nowt wrong with Moa he is a big unit who is hard to put down. Why we only play him for 10 is the coaches call and one that I dont agree with.

The players are still more then capable but the 4 drives a scoot and kick will get us nowhere.

How good was Manu given early ball? Time to chane the tactics Mr Agar!!!!

Quote: Ian P "I have been missing a while now and looking at things from a very different position.

I have seen FC twice and to be honest its like watching them last year, same old rubbish on offer.

Too many have been fooled, hoodwinked into believing that this years team is any better then last years, its not its worse. The pack is getting bitched nearly every week and Thorman will get the blame as no scrum half can play behind a beaten pack every week. The team selection is at times baffling, Moa is being played week in week out when anyone with half a brain can see he is not upto it yet or is he Hutch MARK2 .

I do not believe for one minute that team selection is down to the coaches, a phone call from the Leeds area to Agars office would appear to be the norm. The coaching staff can and will deny it, but if that is the case then they we really are in trouble. I got bored earleir then most with the 5 drives and a kick rugby we play, ok we may win some, but it is bloody aweful to watch. The days of Bombers flowing exciting rugby seems a long way in the past now, sure we got beat and did not acheive a lot finals wise. It was entertaining and the atmosphere better then now.

Agar is not going last beyond next week, losses against KR and the usual Saints beating will finish him off. There has to be some one to take the blame and also take the flak away from the board, Mr Agar is set up nicely for the fall guy this time. John Kear was the first one and then Peter Sharp and we all fell in line behind those decisions.

The board will put in Sharpy (as they always planned to) and then potter on until the end of season, with loads of excuses for this year . This board has been tight where it matters and we have been lacking a quality half back since Smithy left and they have only paid lip service to signing one. They could and should have gone all out to get one , but they counted the cash instead.

Somehow I think this board has now run its course, but getting rid of them could prove to be a very poisoned chalice.

Carefull what you wish for ......................... you may well get it.'"

I won't argue with that because you obviously see a lot more of the team than I do, but from top to bottom the club has needed a shake up, mainly at board level, and it should have come last year but the trip to Wembley kind of covered over the problems.

Hull FC have everything in place to be the biggest club in british rugby league, but one person in particular holds the club back, and till they are got rid off, you'll all suffer the same problems and feeling of under performing year after year.

The two worst games would be Quins and today, so you've seen one of them. I can't agree that Hudds was the same as last year, and neither was Celtic away. Bradford away we played very well indeed.

The trouble seems to be that once things go pear shaped we revert to the tactics that failed last season.

Any YOU know what realistic is do you ? If there was this mystery person who loves Hull FC so much wouldn't they have come forward by now ? Or you just expect Hetherington / Coupe et al to give their shares away ??

You speak like someone who spouts from a stool at the bar. Never read such twaddle in my life.
