My theory...

1. He's popular with the fans
2. He's cheap
3. He's available immediately

Think he deserves his chance, did ok last time he had a spell and he has been around plenty of coaches to pick out what he thinks is good and discard what is bad.
He also seems to have the respect of the players which is a major point in his favour.
Good luck to him and i think he will do a good job.

I expected it, but if I'm honest I'm a bit underwhelmed (now there's a rarity ).

I also think it's a bit of an unfair signal to Peter Sharp. The club took the wait and see approach with him to see if he earnt a new deal, yet it seems they can decide on Agar after only 1 game.

I'm slightly concerned about our recruitment clout (to put it mildly).
