| Quote scarrie="scarrie"I suspect we might see Laidlaw and Severs as a bit of squad rotation but we've not got a huge array of options.'"
Laidlaw is in the squad for the 18s derby tomorrow at Hull Uni but Severs isn’t there, would like to see Severs get a starting spot instead of a 15min cameo.

| The Toulouse match is the obvious chance to play a few more youngsters. Start Balmforth, Severs, Martin, Barron, Litten, and have Laidlaw, Gardiner and maybe even Armstrong on the bench. Nothing to lose, and worth the opportunity for the youngsters. No tv cameras and no real pressure, allow them to learn and if need be, fail and learn from it.

He's not played u18s or Reserves for ages. Not since the last origin game. I'm guessing he is hurt.
Laidlaw and Severs didnt play for the u18s today but both were there and neither had a broken wrist as was rumoured. I'd expect to see them both tomorrow.

| Evans limped off on Thursday but I didn't hear anyone mention it. Hope it's just a knock.

| Enjoyable first half and the young charges have shown up well so far. Showing some decent pace on the edges. Really pleased for Harvey Barron and coming back from a difficult night against Wakey. His carries bringing the ball out of our 10-20 have been pretty good and not take a backwards step and couple of nice tries too. Nice to see Jake guiding/directing and encouraging him through the game too.
Pleased for Cam Scott too as he’s looked pretty good considering he only just come back from injury.
