| Think we are ok as it stands, we have Connor, Sneyd, Hakim and Carlos.
Hopefully Kelly isn't out for too long.

Perhaps, but they had some monster forwards to play off the back of. I feel our halves have to be a bit more creative given our pack is weaker then it was in 2016.

Indeed. Maybe you can make some suggestions of quality, fed trained halfs who would improve our squad, are available and who we could fit under the salary cap

True , but our pack was awesome.
This year it is average.

| Been told Jordan has a compound fracture of his leg, broken in three places. Hope it isn’t that bad but probably end of his season. Get well soon.

I know and it's probably easier to find a decent forward at this stage than it is to find a decent half back

| Yeah Abdull broke his shin in three places, Sneyd had a sinus problem and couldn't fly so will be ok this week.
I'd personally go Sneyd and Connor till Kelly is fit leave Carlos and Griffin in centres. Shaul at 1 and Miloudi cover maybe of the bench or have Litten on there to cover DH we looked better when DH had a breather.

| Liam Harris would be the only choice available but to throw a kid into super league would do more harm than good for everyone concerned.
Anyway, we are blessed with a deep set of half backs. On top of that we also have Hadley and Washy who have both played in the halves. Not ideal but they are an option. If we have injuries to Sneyd and Kelly and Connor and Abdull and Tuimavave and Miloudi then we might be in real trouble.

Fortunately I am not head of recruitment at Hull FC.
I have not looked at the squads of the UK or Oz teams to answer this question.
The intention of the thread was to perhaps get some names put forward.

| Not concerned about halves. We have plenty of options. Pack is a worry for me. We have to do something to bolster it a bit. I have never been as keen on Minichiello as a lot on here. He has always made bags of errors and missed too many tackles, but I could live with that because he was such a strong ball carrier. But he isn't even doing that now. Definitely gone one year too many imo. Bowden has also gone from one of the best 3rd/4th choice props in the league to being completely ineffective. Masi is doing ok but at this stage in his development we can't expect him to be a stand out. If Bowden hasnt significantly improved his performances by the time Westerman is fit I would consider pushing Manu up into the front row and dropping him. For now. Assuming that Kelly doesn't play (and Abdull obviously) I would like to see:
Shaul
Faraimo
Connor
Tuimavave
Talanoa
Miloudi
Sneyd
Taylor
Houghton
Green
Manu
Griffin
Hadley
Paea
Bowden
Lane
Litten
Not a chance in hell that will be the team though.

| you are right not a chance
I would also play Miloudi at 6 so that we can keep the centres of Connor and Tuimavave and offer something different from halfback.
Minichello to start with Griffin on the bench with Lane.
The key with both Mini and Manu now is giving them ample interchange time to get the best out of them rather than playing them into the ground
