A usually reliable Wigan fan on Twitter said a couple of days back that their sales were around 700.
Seemed unlikely but who knows? Their official website was still plugging sales of their original allocation on Wednesday. I think they had an allowance of four per passholder too.

Agree with you mate, all people ever seem to talk about is attendances. Even if the place was empty as long as we won it would not matter! |

If people don't attend games, it affects the game as a whole.
It's embarrassing that a 15k stadium is struggling to sell out a semi final between two of the biggest clubs in the country. |

On a related point that tackle by O'Loughlin looked a shocker. 31 referrals without charge though, fair to assume he'll get SOS.

Back when RL was almost on a par with soccer with attendances in the 30s/40s/50s you'd see at least 60k for 2 semi finals. The record for a semi is just shy of 70k at odsal, could you imagine that sort of crowd now?
I can see why Wigan fans aren't going to turn out in anything like our numbers tbh, Friday evening game on the other side of the pennines.
it's much more hassle coming from Wigan to Donny than it is for me in North Hertfordshire.
