| Good that that allgood one is in there, any touching of the ref should be a ban, its disrespectful and undermines their authority by violating their space. I think it was said in commentary at the time that in the nrl that would be an immediate sending off and ban so we will see.

Or for Carlos.
Cant believe Lunt is only on a NFA-1 Grade A charge though just shows what a farce the Disciplinary is when Allgood is on a 1-2 Grade B for touching the ref. Yes I know a player should never touch an official and rightly should cop a ban but it wasn't a vicious attack or any chance of causing injury more just stupidity but Lunt could have seriously injured Watts, and he certainly showed intent by having 2 goes at doing it.

| Surprised on the Lunt one, thought it would be a B and feared a C. I don't go with the causing an injury means more, thats just luck. If it had been the other way round I'd have been calling for more.
Taylor's was never a ban, penalty for contact with the head (as seems the norm now) and nothing more.
Allgood touched the ref but I've seen that go unmentioned plenty of times before but now its been brought up that'll be a ban

| It does seem a bit wrong that Allgood gets B and Lunt gets A. I understand the importance of respecting the referee, but it wasn't like he assaulted him in any way. He put his hand on his shoulder, personally I would be more bothered about the way he was shouting at him than the fact he touched him.

agree with most of that but contact with the ref needs nipping in the bud before it becomes a problem, regardless of which club's players are involved. in general a minimum 2 game ban would help in this area with no exemptions for EGP (its more of a conduct/dissent issue than foul play). but i agree with you that it needs to be applied consistently.

Indeed. Worth mentioning that it can be a sending off in the UK as well, so he was lucky in that respect.

| Pleased that no Hull player has been charged, they shouldn't have as they was nothing in them, but after Watts last week, so can be too sure.
Think Lunt is lucky, it should be at least a B and Algood grade A, even that seems harsh, but the players no the rules.
Campese is lucky not to be up also.
Saying all that we could do with a Rovers win this week, can't see it happening though even with a fully fit squad.

| Didn't one of our players (Houghton?) get a one match ban after being pushed into the ref by another playing trying to organise the goalline defence ?

I've underline the word that's relevant. I don't believe the RFL understand the meaning of consistency.

That's a slap, never a gauge.
Looks like he's trying to gauge his mouth in the last pic

Thought Cats were shocking yesterday, no doubt they'll be better at the weekend but they do turn in the odd shocker.

| That is a clear gouge.. his hand moves from the top to the bottom of his eye and Imo he's a lucky boy not to be charged and banned for a couple of games. I thought campese was better than that, and maybe it's a culmination of been in and out with injuries but their is no place for that in our game. He was after trouble all game and constantly whining at the ref... It worked for so long until we took hold of the game
