I'm really fed up of comments like this from the players. Less talking to the media about what needs to be done and get down to showing us it on the pitch.

Futile comments. Micky Paea is the one who needs to get some grunt back for me, awful last couple.

Saw the headline couldn't be bothered to read it, same old same old. I guess it's just his turn this week to spew out the same regurgitated cr@p.

Bored of hearing it, it has no affect on the team's performance.

Club should stop the players giving these type of interviews, until they start producing it on the pitch.

According to AP the staff and players are doing their best and we should stick with them.

Good question!! We've all stuck with them for more years than we care to remember. The big question is how long will Adam stick with them.

This type of interview is very repetitive and predictable but is it the club's fault or the Mail's?

The club shouldn't stop the players talking to the HDM and they can't dictate what is asked.

I guess if people don't like it they can just ignore them.

Fair comment about the HDM part but the club is guilty of putting similar stories on the website. We had Westy earlier in the week saying there were positives from the weekend defeat and Carvell last week going on about amending the Easter loss to Rovers.

As you say though, probably best to just ignore these when they show up.

It's lazy all round. Lazy, hollow words, lazy pointless journalism. Is there really nothing else to write about at our club than "Liam Watts says we need to play a bit better". Or, this time last week, "Joe Westerman says we need to play a bit better."

The most worrying aspect of the last few days for me is that Radford, Westerman and now Watts have mentioned taking the positives and the spirit from the Rovers game into the next one. Perhaps I was at the wrong match on Saturday but if that's the standard we're setting outselves we're in even more trouble than it first appears.

- defensively, catastrophically bad, shipping 18 points double lively.
- discipline, atrocious. Still haven't got over the stupidity of the Rankin penalty at the start of the second half, or the Crookes sending off
- tactics, non existant. Burns running the show unchecked.
- result - dire. Beaten by Rovers who looked to me to be playing in about third gear. I think Rovers had more in them if they'd needed it.

And yet we're talking about how good it was we didn't get thrashed after the red card (which was our fault) and how pleased Radford was with the effort!!!

I can't stand Shaun Wane but I'd love to have heard his comments about the defence, the attitude, the discipline and the red card if Wigan had lost to Saints like that. I bet he wouldn't have been praising much.
