That doesnt matter, it's still technically a derby match so yes, i expect radders to put out a full strength squad.

| This & bradford is the real tests for our first choice team so lenny will Defo have his strongest team what he's got available for a good 40 mins in each game & he won't want to loose to any games that's his mentality.

| Am I the only one who disagrees with the derby friendly? Admittedly I've been to a few, but they're a bad idea IMO, eg could they be part of the reason why the competitive ones haven't sold out for years now? (eg the overkill).

| Hull will have had 2 games before the Rovers match so i would imagine that Radders will pick something resembling a full strength side with limited substitutes. It is Rovers first hit out so Craig Sandercock will most likely give most of his 30 man squad a run out. Could be a bit of a farce with 2 teams at differing levels of their preparation but its a Derby so i'll be there.

| With the friendly game, that makes 4 derbies in a season. IMO, that 2 too many.
It's lost the excitement factor that there used to be a few seasons ago.

No you're not the only one. Four friendlies most seasons with the possibility of six is ridiculous.

Correct. Sandercock said before Tenerife that one week's warm weather training is worth 6 in the UK. With Rovers therefore being:
a) 5 weeks ahead of us
b) having assembled the best pack in Super League (Phil Lowe) and
c) it being "Rovers' Year" (Mike Smith, twice)
I expect Rovers to win by around 30-40 points.
In answer to the OP, and as further back-up to my prediction, no. Unless Biggs/Crookes, Tuson, Lineham, Rankin and Talanoa are suddenly available.

| dont agree with the fixture, but go because we have been starved of rugby for 5 months
sandracock took this game more seriously than we did last season as did some of the dobbins, win or lose i couldnt care as long as we come out injury free
more concerned about the derby games that matter

He's the source of the statement, silly.
Big talk from your board. 10 months to go on Sandercock's contract, he best get off to a steamrolling start or it could be the old "decision at Easter" threat from Hudgell again.
