Thorman was a good SL player for London and Hudds. Like most if our halfbacks we got him at the wrong time.

As a bulls fan I wouldn't be sorry to let him go. He blows hot and cold too much. He will so something magical, like produce a 40/20 from his own 20m line when we are under pressure. But then he will decide to do a fancy kick with the outside of the boot when we are 6 points up with 5mins left, the opposition then go full length and score.

He is far too indecisive with ball in hand and doesn't look like he knows what he is doing (not in a good way). He produces moments of class, but then lets himself
Down by stupid bits of play or trying to be too fancy when all the team needs is the basics.

I don't think he is th type of half back you need. He needs an experienced player next to him who knows how to do the basics and when to put certain plays on at what time. He doesn't have that in his locker.

IF hull can get his decision making better, you could have a good half back, but he has had two years with us and just when he looks like the half back we want, he lets himself down. Flattered to deceive for two years here.

If Saints had him paired with Walsh, I think he would do well, but with your two young half backs, I don't think it will work IMHO

He is probably 1 of the higher earning players that I wouldn't be devastated to lose right now in our current predicament. Solid enough player who received a bit of unfair criticism last year though from some sections of our support though.

As other have said he blows a bit hot and cold and his defence can really let him down at times.

But the change in Club maybe just what he needs...it doesn't always work out, but look how many players who were average at 1 club, move to another and become stars....
One I have in mind was a certain DB....with us he showed signs of what he has become but then went onto self destruct mode...moved to Cas and was VERY average....then came along Hudds and the rest is history....if he (Luke Gale) isn't going to be to expensive then he's worth having on board...
But that's just my opinion

If we're going to nick someone from the bulls wouldn't John Bateman be the obvious signing I'd swap him for Westerman

Be a bit difficult as he's already joined Wigan on a 3 year deal
