Rob Worrincy is an average SL winger? how do you figure that one out?
Interesting that you think having a good pair of hands is a good yardstick to measure the effectiveness of a winger.

| Sharp was a more than capable winger and looked decent in a poor Quins side before he came here.
Worrincy unless I'm confusing him with his brother is older and has numerous chances but has found his level.

| Sharp's problem is a confidence issue, whilst the Halifax winger simply wasn't good enough at super league level. As for Broughton, not many really wanted him to stay, apart from if he would have been a cheap backup to someone else.Just because he has improved at Salford does it mean Agar got it wrong!

| Sharp is a left winger. We play him on the right therefore his positional play and passing is bound to be dodgy as it's the opposite way round to how he played at quins.

| We had Worrincy for a bit, didnt impress us. You have to remember the difference in standard! Ian Hardman looks good at that level!

Could be similar to Sharp, standing out in a poor team.
Both definitely have the finishing ability. Sharp seems dodgy in defence, and it's not nice to see him flap at the highball, but I think that this is made to look much more worse than it is due to the weak right-hand-side overall.

| WTF does everyone keep going on about Worrincey as he is an average NL player at best? For all Sharps frailties hes 10X a better player than frigging Worrincey!

Agree with this, I was one who didn't, and I'm still not convinced he's good enough for a top 4 side (as we should be aspiring to be). Also, he played centre for us, and was not as good as Hall there, so it was more than understandable Agar didn't try to sign him.

| TBF Sharp is a player who has lost his confidence, mainly due to the supporters getting on his back (some justified , some not). Then he his faced with a coach who can't turn that around for him and instead of trying to fix his issues has just being left to rot basically.
If Sharp had being given the backing of the coach he may have just sorted out his defensive position by now. I feel sorry for the guy because IMO he is a good strike weapon to have if he can just sort out his defensive errors. Very fast and powerful, you only need to look at the try he set up in Cas pre season or the winner he scored against Warrington.
I'm not saying Sharp hasn't played poor just not given the right type of coaching IMO. Briscoe makes mistakes but never seen him dropped before.

| When a winger has genuine pace a lot can be forgiven in other areas. Sharp was touted as very fast but he hasn't really shown it. Broughton looked competent when he was with us but was green and only training/playing on a part time basis because he was finishing off his education. He does have genuine pace. Persevering with him on a full time basis would have made sense if he'd have agreed to it.

We had Robs brother Mike, not him. For what it's worth I think with another shot he could make a SL player, but he must be getting on now been around for years.

Mike Worrincy - as in the ex Bradford and Quins player???
I thought we took 'a' Worrincy on trial from gateshead maybe 4 years ago - a flyer of a winger Kath Hetherington said??!

| Your right, we did have him (aswell as his brother)
Think Rule was playing Union with him at Sheffield and got him over
Mike was here at the same time as LMS and Adi Abedisi on loan from Quims
