Quote: the-machine "Have booked holidays from Sat morning to accomodate the Friday fixture, so double screwed there.'"
That's unlucky, but happens i'm afraid. It's going to happen to almost everyone though i'm afraid. It's not really possible to book a holiday without missing one game. On a positive note you will still be able to watch the game when on holiday thanks to Sky!!
Quote: the-machine "Agree with you on the moving them more issue if we went to a Sunday home fixture (getting used to the sunshine on match days)'"
It would be a nightmare. It's never going to suit everyone but at least on a Friday night people can plan for thing pretty much 90% of the time. On a Sunday you can never really plan anything until a couple of weeks before the game. This would have been a worse situation on your part as;
1. If we played Sundays, you'd have missed the game anyway due to your holiday.
2. You wouldn't have been able to really book your holiday until now, potentially missing out on a deal you may have got.
Quote: the-machine "Can not really see the Giants bringing a bumper crowd, as I said start of half term.'"
Don't think this really matters. If anything, that may improve the crowd as kids aren't at school. Most holidays tend to be booked in the 'six week holiday' period IMO. As i say, more Hudds fans will travel on a Sunday then a Friday night due to work etc.....
Quote: the-machine "When do you usually see Leeds matches moved from thier prefered Friday, not very..'"
Never, but that's another issue. Well once this season IIRC.
Quote: the-machine "Reckon they figures will be bumped up to 10,500 for good measure or will the board notice that it is half term and put out an offer for tickets.'"
They have no reason to 'bump up' or lie about the figures, that's never in the interest of the club as it simply costs us more. I think they'll know full well that it's half term and i'm sure there will be offers as always but surely, on your theory, if people are on holiday then they can't go anyway.

It will...
I know you are clearly annoyed at the fixture change, and everyone feels the same at some point in every season but i do think that claiming that it will be our lowest league crowd of the season is ridiculous.. IMO
We have approximately 10/11k Passholders/Walk up 'Home' supporters at every game and as i say, Hudds will travel in bigger numbers due to Sunday and current performances/league position.
It really can be 15k plus but that is maybe a little optimistic. Over 13k defo but 14k plus for me!!
