| It just shows how narrow the gap between success and failure is, had the Fox try been allowed this thread would have been another 'Agar Out' one. Anyway well done on the win.

don't think he was injured, but yes it was the correct call, Hame is an impact player to be used when we need to score. He's a risk at other times.

Silverwood wouldn't protect him so Agar did.

You reckon? Personally I think we'd have scored again had we needed to

You're right, but it at least it was encouraging to see him reading what was in front of him.

| Shame it took a try, fortunately disallowed, to decide to take the injured briscoe off.

| I felt a bit sorry for Hame. Yes he should have kept his discipline, but Rovers seemed to be roughing him up al time (most of it illegal) and Silverwood just seemed blind to it.

My sentiments exactly, hope it doesn't knock his confince too much, at some points he was looking around as if to say "What do you want me to do?!"

Ogre received similar treatment and managed to control himself. Hame is a liability.

Received similar treatment, but not the same. Ogre didn't have facials every time he was tackled.

Different players and Rovers targeted Hame because they know he will react.

Agree with that.
I criticised Hame myself at the time for rising to the bait, but TBF he should have had protection from the ref. He's certainly a handful in every sense of the word. The fact that Rovers targeted him shows just how much of a threat he's seen as by opposition coaches.

Exactly. And the fact that teams are targeting him and putting more men on him means he gets more attention drawn off our other players, giving them more space to play in. If we use him correctly, he could be invaluable.

Problem is, so will most other teams. I'm not excusing the dirty tactics employed by the dobbins, but Agar needs to sort him out.
He does give far to many penalties away and could not be trusted to come on later in the game, when he would have been very useful against a tiring dobbins defense.
