O'Meley certainly needs more game time to build up his fitness.

think ur right tbh i would play a near full strengh team for at least half the game just think we need a bit more game time to horn our attack ,too many balls went down due to runners not getting there lines right i would work on it this week, then give it a go for 1st half next week ,bring Long off at half time ,we have got to stop worrying about injuries u carnt wrap players up in cotton wool ,we have a genuine chance at saints they will be cold themselfs and upsets tend to happen in the 1st round

Surely with their only being 2 friendlies more first teamers need game time under their belt ??

We have a few forwards to will take a good 3 or 4 games to get into full swing.

agar won't want to risk too much with o'meley.i think he'll now keep him for saints,along with fitz,and longy.1 or 2 will defo get a runout,but it will mainly be the reserves.

I'd take a bigger squad than we had yesterday but still start with a strong 13. Rotate in the 2nd half.

He needs to risk him, no good meeting Saints not matchfit, tbh friendlies are a risk, but sadly an injury can come in the first game, best to have had a hit out and gained some match fitness imo

Should see Briscoe (J), Tuffour, Kent and Lynne get some game time.

I would also like to see a couple of other young kids, I would also include Lee Williams and Josh Bowden in the squad.
