Are we really though ?
Sure we have the numbers but in terms of supporting our team are we really the best ? I mean we boo our own players, never encourage them when we are down and only sing Old faithful when we have won. Fair play to those who have being home and away alot this year but I'm not talking about the numbers we take to games its what we do when we are there.
A few years ago it was a joy to behold to be part of the FC travelling army, going to places like Castleford 4000 odd fans all singing pre match in the pubs and at the game. As opposed to this year which just resulted in people taking it in turns to slag a player or have an Agar rant.
By no means am I suggesting this is our fault but I feel as supporters we could have contributed alot more to the players this season, when the KC is bouncing there is only ever one team who will win the game and that is us. Part of the reason I am falling away from Rugby is not just down to how we perform but the overall lack of entertain coming off the field too. Everyone just feels like turning up to a game is a chore and we have already being beat before we start.
I heard a rumour and not sure how true it is but apparentley a player had said to a friend of mine that the team prefer to play away because then they don't have 10000 people on there backs if they make a mistake, he even went on to say that playing at the KC gives him more nerves then a cup final!

Well said, we have seen many darker days in the past. In comparism these are glory years. Although I would like to see the back of Agar I will still buy my season ticket even if I am unemployed.

which is ridiculous
how do they think Man United's players cope playing in front of 78k every other week? If they can't cope with 10,000 FC fans professional rugby isn't for them
yes the atmosphere has been bad at games for ages, but what do they expect when there coach has a win record of 33% the fans have shown great loyalty these last 2 seasons, many other fans would have stopped going altogether.

| I have never openly booed the team , but when we pay our money take the kids and the family to a game we expect some sort of performance . If the players do not like it when the fans get on the backs of them well may be a better performance is asked for . I will never ever support another RL side but we as fans ar ebeing pushed to the limits . If we was riding as high as KR we would be putting 15 -16 thousand every week

Villa - first game of the season, boo their coach / team. Although 2 wrongs don't make a right. I would never boo my team - I might stop cheering though!!!!
Our lads sometimes get off lightly compared to some of their fellow professionals.

Correct, I don't like comparing RL to football too much but if this was a football club there would of been anti-Agar banners, protests etc long before now.

I agree with all your sentiment about the fans - we stopped being the best fans in the league a long time ago. However I'm afraid the players need to produce the basics to an acceptable level home and away before they should start criticising the fans. That's all that most Hull fans actually expect. It's not surprising that thoughts of that type have been expressed by this bunch of players. They are the worst bunch of players, with the odd exceptions, that have played for Hull for many years. I wouldn't even dream of calling them a team. When Calderwood scored the other week it was all he could do to get his team "mates" to give him a word of congratulation.
