| I’ve kept my council since the Huddersfield quarter final, in that game which was so important regarding future financial rewards alone, we were so flat, and in truth we never looked like winning, I’ve rarely seen a challenge cup game in memory which we seemed to have no enthusiasm for, and ultimately got what we deserved.
The Derby was like ground hog day, beaten by a much more committed team, out enthused, and alarmingly we offered virtually no threat again.
It saddens me to say, the recruiting of Reynolds, Gale, and Hodgson has been a disaster, I don’t know if it’s James Clark sanctioning these signings, but the majority of rugby league supporters could of told him these two halves were finished, no cohesion in the team, and seemingly no grey matter, no threat or strike anywhere on the park, the two most important games of the season so far, we have failed miserably.
I said last season, I’ve seen no discernible change or improvement in our play since Brett took over, in fact we are in decline, no pace, no timing, stop Jake and we offer no recognisable form of footie whatsoever, rudderless, clueless.

I think slowly but surely fans are starting to see this. Hodgson may well have been a fantastic player and a decent bloke. However he's no 1st team coach. There's no obvious tactics or strategy, seemingly no motivation and we actually look unfit. All this is down to him and his staff. He's a lame duck.

KR have two hookers better than Houghton

They certainly do Keith, probably got an academy hooker better than Johnstone too.
Not bothered about Abdul going to Rovers, although better than our current halfs, but massive mistake by Radford letting Litten go.
We were terrible yesterday Keith, probably the worst we have played, but Rovers did well, particularly looking at the players injured and ones Smith choose not to select.
Wish our coach would have the guts to do that.

Short term Ellis.
Long term it's an issue, not many experienced coaches are available.
Think Mcguire might get the boot from Wests too.
I still think McNamara would come to Hull.
Doubt it will happen anytime soon.
I heard a while back Watson would have come, but he wanted to bring his backroom staff, which we didn't want, big mistake if true.

| First I'd be doing is binning Hatton and the conditioning team, most unfit I've seen a Hull said in many years.

McNamara. Offer him what he wants, that's where our marquee money should be spent.

Agree with this. Too many of our players are blowing out their s after 20 minutes every game.

The kick chase on Ryan for their 3rd try was a joke.

I'd stay well clear of Madge. Should've won more at Souths and he's made Wests worse year on year.

I don’t like to see excellent club stalwarts receiving criticism. Not sure whether Houghton has gone on too long or he is not being used properly. I’m a great believer that players should retire a year too early rather than a year too late. Doing the latter tends to diminish their legacy.

James Roby is three years older than Houghton but they both became regular starters around 2011. Those extra years spelling Cunnigham has helped him extend his career (I'm not comparing Houghton and Roby in quality, of course).
