Martin Aspinwall will not be offered a contract you can understand that, but its a shame he's done a good job. He also said that Chase was extremely unlikely and it was so complicated and personal but it was alot down to the player himself, either Peter out or be a decision very quickly and McGoldrick still up in the air, but someone would have to go if he remains. Signing for Leigh I've heard. He's done a great job for us and cannot fault him, but Galea is a better player and I reckon some of his salary has gone to make up the deal announced today.

galea is a better player but not sure we will get better value for money out of him than aspinwall

Agreed. Very solid player for us, Aspinwall, but I guess seen as a blocker to our younger players coming through. Wish him all the best.

In terms of time on the field? Maybe not. In terms of overall impact? Definitely IMO.
