As has been explained many, many times...
Both FC and City have power of veto over the use of the stadium by other sports clubs as part of their tenancy agreement - i.e. the agreement with the Council, not the SMC.
You would also need our agreement to move the fixture.

Hull FC and Hull City are both tenants, they have to agree or the SMC cannot rent you the pitch, it really is simple.
AND
Hull FC will have to agree to having the fixture moved
the RFL will have to agree to the fixture being moved
and AP only heard about it in the press yesterday, so despite Hudgell's ascertion that they are best mates and speak frequently, seems he hasn't mentioned this minor issue.
AP certainly didn't come across as being a great Hudgell fan, which was great!

I loved the comments after the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' question lastnight. He was grinning like a chesire cat.

| I'd be amazed if the game attracted 20,000.
Last year's game at the KC had an attendance of 19,754 and the regular season game in 2010 had just a little over 20,000.
How many times have Hull KR attacted 10,000 home fans in the last twenty five years? There will be plenty against the idea of moving the fixture or playing a home game in West Hull. As has been suggested all Hull FC fans have to pay and of course some would be against the idea anyway.
I'd say there'll be no more than 15,000.

When it was built AP was asked about concerts etc. He stated a full house concert, at £30+ per ticket still only makes the SMC a profit of about £70000'"
If the SMC are only declaring £70K profit on a couple of million pound turnover for a single event like a pop concert then something is seriously amiss with the accounting .
Either money is been squirrelled away off the top or expenses/expenditure for the running of the event is wildy over elaborated with no checking done by the council or a combination.
It makes one seriously wonder where all the money goes.....
So from that if the SMC cannot make a decent amount of money from a larger event (nor from the yearly sums from us, city and all the food/drink/hospitality etc) I cannot see how hiring out the KC to the dobbins is going to be any different, in fact it could end up being a net loss to SMC which doesn't help us in any way whatsoever.
