Caravan Park is an ageing stadium so all maintenance costs will soon be theirs. At least the Council footed the £100K floodlight bill.'"
Why would the council do that, even if they could?
Hudgell would clearly be happy to step aside if there was somebody with the money and desire to take over.
I think Rovers are already responsible for the upkeep of the stadium, although that is largely based on what i’ve seen on internet forums.

| Don’t underestimate the amount of goodwill the Dobbins have in the upper echelons of the Council. Certainly get looked after more than any other professional sports club in the city. Only because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
They’ll get their ground at a good price as they’re worried Grudgell would pull the plug if not.

Do you want to back that up with facts? or you just having a rant because it's KR and are still stuck in the 80's?

| The council should help the clubs within reasonable bounds but if they sell some land to rovers which is then developed at a profit then the council should share in that profit imo. They must have stacks of land sat doing nothing that they could give to us on some long lease if we could put a finance package together to build a ground

There’s some fine council owned lands, on the road into Cottingham, maybe we can have a word with the deputy leader of the county council, who I know for a fact, even though he is a Londoner, is a massive rugby league supporter of one of the Hull teams.

Cottingham is in the East Riding, the KC isn't viable without us, we don't need to own a ground, if KR weren't discussing it we wouldn't be.

I respectfully disagree with you, to own our own ground has been a subject well documented in the past, regardless of any intentions by the robins.

Hull is a unitary authority that does not cover Cottingham though, does it?

Disagree to your hearts content, that is what forums are about. As I have said before, unless one of us drops £100m plus then the KC will remain our home.

No. But the original point was that that someone in the COUNTY council may be supportive. Hull, like it or not, is in the County of East Yorkshire.

The County Council have no interest in Hull, but it's a moot point as it will never happen, there is no value in it for any council.
Public Funds have already provided the KC.

Don’t need to back it up. I know what I know.
Not going to compromise myself for the sake of an internet message board.
Choose to believe it or not, not bothered.
