I don't get the "didn't take long" comment, Im simply saying we need players to step up whilst he's off the field. Am I wrong?

The reliance on Ellis has been huge, which is testament to what a great player he has been.
Really don't know how we go about replacing him. Or Mini (even though I was unsure about his signing at first).
I remember reading an article when he signed, and his Dad (Ken) told him that if he signed for Hull and brought success, he'd be considered a club legend, which is not always the case at other clubs.
Job done.

We've got to start planning for him to move into coaching and who is replacing his leadership role. It's no coincidence that being without him, Houghton and Kelly caused us problems, I don't have the answer, hopefully Lee and his other coaches do.

As Danny Houghton said, players feel ten times bigger when he's on the pitch with them.

Hopefully Motu has something up his sleeve.

I think he could do both.

Talks a bit slow for commentary I reckon but he seems to have the right attitude for coaching. Certainly a vocal leader.

ellis has repeatedly said he doesn't want to coach but wants to get into strength and conditioning

Is he getting any qualifications, some players do as they see their playing days coming to an end. Maybe he feels he has another season in him?
