Where are you getting all this bull[is[/ihit from?

Quote: Standee "it's not ending early though, is it?'"
In my book a 3 year deal that ends after 12 months is ending early.
But then again Standee I seem to remember that your Maths ain't that good

Did those wraps on 100 trailers suddenly appear by magic?'"
Ok coddy a few quid for some graphics, pedantic as ever....
I wonder how much it would have cost them to gain the advertising space they have enjoyed on Sky, Web sites etc? More than the cost of a few graphics thats for sure, their quids in.

| Quote: cod'ead "So the money can be pi[is[/ised away on more journeyman Aussie imports?
Even if the RFL find someone to match Engage's deal of £1.2m per year and it all goes to the 14 Superleague clubs, that's a whopping £85k each. Hardly the sum to make the difference between financial success and penury.
Any money raised from a new sponsorship deal should be distributed among Superleague clubs but only to be used in promoting an developing the youth game in their areas'"
So what has the Stobart advertising brought the game?

| Well, bigger viewing figures will help negotiate a better price with any new sponsor.
People moan about the lack of exposure our game gets, then slams the RFL for doing that very thing.
£1.2m doesn't go very far 14 ways, so anybody blaming Bradfords demise (not on this thread, but others before) on this is being naive, at best.

| £1.2m/year for the whole of superleague is utterly utterly crap, Saracens have just done a 6 year £8M deal with Allianz (insurance co.) that gets them the main shirt sponsor and stadium naming rights.
Aviva the main sponsor of RU premiership is £20M over 4 years
We are a tinpot game run by idiots who couldn't market water in a desert for all intents and purposes

| Not bull Cod'ed. Elonex began the season as referee shirt sponsors. They pulled out half way through the season, and the refs had to wear their old Engage-sponsored shirts.

How many times, stop bringing facts into arguments, it simply doesn't wash with some cod'ead.

Sadly I doubt that's true but if it is I would expect something to be announced soon.
