Must admit, not to this degree but I aren't happy with Washbrook at 6, not what so ever but who would replace him apart from Horne who spends half of the year in Hospital. Something that needs bringing up and rectifying and someone needs signing.

Oh dear. It was a response to the quite frankly pathetic nature of his post calling a player a piece of crap, so I simply used the words he used. I'm not actually asking the mods to do anything

Ok, he's not a stand off and he would probably be the first to admit it, but you cant fault his enthusiasm, he always gives his all, tackles his heart out and works hard for the team as a whole, would love to see him trained by someone who believed in him or at least someone who would play him where he would do the most good.

The OP is correct and this is the 3rd year we have had to put up with it. I'm not saying it's DW's fault and it could be argued it'd not entirely Agars fault but the facts are that he is not good enough and this is the 3rd year he has played there. It's absolutely ridiculous that we are still in this situation.

At the time of renewing his current contract and amidst rumours of him signing for Rovers there was meltdown on here as he was seen as one of the best homegrown prospects not just at Hull but in the SL. For me compared to 2006/7 (maybe because his opening minute break in the Bradford GF eliminator is such a great moment in FC's recent history) he's actually seems less effective now, 4 years on. Whether he's not being used right or has just not continued his trajectory of development, I don't know, but it's a real shame and doesn't sound like it's through poor attitude or lack of commitment either. Would love him to rediscover his potential.

Thats a tad unfair really. Unlike some i rarely vent my frustration at the players, i may comment that a player had a mare of a game but have never slagged a player off and most others are the same. Agar gets the majority of criticism when we lose and as a coach that is what he probably expects.

Washy is in an awful situation, he tries his heart out and you can see that but he is just not a stand off or a scrum half. But for me the fact he gives everything the majority of the time means a hell of a lot.

It wasn't meant as a sweeping statement, it was directed at the people who systematically go through the team/squad/coaching staff and slag them off. Usually after a loss or two. If you don't do that then it doesn't include you.

Problem for Danny was 2008, injuries meant he played out of position all year. 2nd problem was halfway through that season we had a change of coach, to a coach that believes in the Aussie way of having a pivot at fb and an extra prop at 13. I'm not saying that it's the wrong way to do things but Washy came through the system in a position and role that is now redundant in our team.
