Fridays suit me. My wife and kids rarely go to the match so it means I can go after work and then have a few beers with my friends while she stays home and watches the soaps.

It also frees up sunny summer Sunday afternoons for us to do family stuff together.

Sunday afternoons were different when we played in the winter when there was little else do do.

Obviously other people have different circumstances and different priorities and I think it would be impossible for the club to please everybody.

Maybe not, but I thought the survey got 4,000 responses or something significant anyway? Might be mistaken. Short of tracking down everyone who had, has and potentially will have an interest in FC, this seems a reasonable sample on which to base decisions.

Or they could contact season pass holders/Grapevine subscribers?

Looks like I will be watching Cas more again next season

Oh well not to worry. Looks like my days at the KC are slowly coming to an end. I can't justify to the wife 10 + days annual leave a year to watch FC even though they are my passion in life. Looks like my hard earned will be spent at cricket next year.

Its disappointing but as has been said not entirely suprising. I will though be at the reserve matches as per usual so I will get my fix.

With us being at home next good friday would love a nice july friday night game at KC for the return.

I'm really pleased, I prefer Fridays it allows me to spend more time at the weekend with my family. My Children come to rugby and one late night a week when they have no school the next day doesn't do them any harm at all.

I think people missed an important point here

Alcohol and the players have ruined our last 2 seasons !!!!

Playing Friday allowed many of them to have 4-5 pints after the game Friday , then binge Saturday and even Sundays
Monday and Tues training is then at a terribly low intensity and only gets going Weds and then they take it easy Thurs.

Am I cynical ? we are talking about mostly working class lads aged 18 -28 , what are you doing yourself or what did you do yourself at this age ?

Fizzy coke is also out of your system after 48 hours.

Just a thought , if we played on a Sunday afternoon where can you go on the on a Monday tea time ??

Gone are the days of Worcester to Hull in just over 2 hours. Takes about that long just to get through the 16 mile roadworks on the M1 now!
Friday's are good for me (when I am not away of course) but it messes about my lad's rugby training.

So the club have put a request in to the league for Friday fixtures.

Shame they refused to make a special request for our first ever home game there. (remember that non banwaggoners?)

You have to be taking the pi$$? Imagine the flack Agar would get if he used Friday nights as his excuse for the last 2 lame seasons. So to recap, every team that plays their home games on a Friday night would suffer due to the players having more of the weekend to drink? Now i've read some $hit on this board over the years, but that has just topped the mark!

Been along there a fair bit recently and I've yet to see one person working along that stretch.
